Health and Wellness
To promote a healthy lifestyle, L.A. GOAL offers Tai Chi, Yoga, Dance, Zumba (dance exercise), health education workshops, and classes in personal safety at home and in the community, personal grooming, safe food handling, and healthy cooking.
Most health and fitness classes are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and sometimes Saturdays. All of our programs are interlocking pieces of our strategy to provide a healthy, nurturing environment that serves as a foundation for adults with developmental disabilities so they can explore their abilities and talents.
